The course is open all 18 holes,and there are I think 4 or 5 lady members.

This weekend is the first competion the Besmapark trohey a stableford competion which will include longest drive best gross etc open to both ladies and gentlemen members.



After the prize giving there will be a buffett cavery in the club house.

pleased to hear what is Mrs Hippo's handicap? makes me feel a bit happier we are coming out in April to get our new home in Ozenkoy into some sort of living order, could i give you my email and get in touch my husband also plays golf.

Today, I went to the golf course and shot some balls at the driving range.



It's just so much fun!! I already signd up for the lessons so I think this will be amazing.

Hi Tansycat, My wife and I both play golf and are members of Korineum G&CC, my handicap is 14 and Jo's is 25. We live 5 minutes from the club in Esentepe which is why we bought here. We have been waiting for over six months for the course to open and our game has suffered as a result. It has proved to be worth the wait and in another twelve months it should be a fantastic facility. For the moment it is a good challenge, a bit 'new' in places but the views more than make up for any deficiencies. The clubhouse is 5 star and will become very popular during the next 12 months as word gets around. The food is to die for!

Thank you 'coffer'. We were over last month and went to see the course and the clubhouse, as that had to be the first thing to tick the box to move over to Cyprus permanantly. So we proceeded and found a villa in Ozenkoy and everything is being finalised as we speak.... we are coming over again in April to do some fittings in the villa etc. We had a buggy to have a look around the course and what a wow the 14th is

I certainly will contact you and your wife if that is ok? do you have any idea what the membership numbers are for ladies?

There are a number of ladies with a range of handicaps but as to the exact numbers I'm afraid we can't help. We may have a better idea after this weekend's competition.

Your UK handicap is acceptable, the club is structured in accordance with R & A and European regulations. So provided it is within accepable limits (6 mths?) a handicap certificate is valid.

Oh yes the elusive Hippo is everywhere
