If I pay for a house and later on find that I cannot get a PTP what happens next? Do I have to sell the property? Is it even mine to sell? On what ground are PTPs refused? Is there an appeals procedure?

Hi Neil27
Its very rare for permission to be refused. Normally its only refused if the property overlooks a military base or you have a serious criminal record in your Country of residence.
If permission is refused you will still be able to sell the property but only to a Turkish Cypriot.
I would suggest you speak to your solicitor as you are paying them for their professional advice.
