Hi

Am finally ready to purchase a resale property in North Cyprus, but still doing my research. Can anyone help me with the costs involved - e.g. Solicitors costs and in particular will I have to pay any purchase taxes etc

A comprehensive list from someone who has recently purchased would be of great help - so I get the latest figures

I do realize that my costs may differ slightly from any given - Property purchase price £100,000 Sterling

Many Thanks

You say you are finally ready to purchase a resale property but are still doing your research, therefore it doesn't sound to me that you are ready or am i missing something.

It's called 'impulse buying'!

We have recently completed on a resale property.

Lawyers (Naomi Mehmet) charged a standard £1,000.

You probably will need Power(s) of Attorney about £25.

TRNC Wills, about £100 each.

The other costs are as per the "no deeds no money" post.

You really do need a competent and honest lawyer and it is generally accepted that Naomi Mehmet tick those boxes.

Ignore the doom and gloom comments but be very cautious.

Good luck
