Just to let you know that I was in PetCross this morning and I was told that another dog was poisoned yesterday at Alagadi Beach. Right on the sea shore!!!! So beware all you animal walkers, Alagadi is now out of the equation...... Where do we take them next????? Fortunately the dog has been saved. Would like 5 minutes alone with the poisoner.......

Thankyou lally for posting this warning. Afraid to step outside the door these days. Will keep our dog on lead at all times. Takes some pleasure from their walks but better safe than sorry

What purpose could this possibly serve(on the shoreline).

There are some seriously sick people out there, intent on causing suffering and heartbreak.

WHY!!!

Maybe because stray dogs spread disease.

I am a lover of dogs it is always very sad to read about these cruel cases, aligadi and other beaches forbid dogs, and hope this recent act of cruelty is not related to this law, it is now widespread and seems to be getting worse.

Some of the dog owners are themselves cruel, WHY don't they put muzzels on their dogs rather than subjecting them to all the pain when poisoned.

This solution is in the owners hands.

Regrettably Liz and I found a dead dog on Guzeyeli beach,Karsiyaka yesterday. It was too far up the beach to have been washed up and looked if it had been poisoned.A brown and white pointer with no collar so no chance of identifying an owner. So sad
