what is happening with Tatlisu project that was started in 2005 ?

We have friends who should have taken possession in 2007 having sold up in the UK they are now having to stay with family and friends.

We have been called to both sites by buyers who are not happy with current situation. You need to speak to them if you want to know more.

Are you working private for the purchsers or contracted to Savilla as our freinds in the UK may may need a quote to finish a pool that savilla started and abandoned 18 months ago due to lack of funds

I hear that the fore mentioned builder is using disturbing tatics to obtain final payments regardless to thier contractual obligations, a practice that would not be accepted by any country outside the TRNC

Can only offer information on the golf site, had an email from

Sevilla just before christmas. They are asking for all remaining

balances and kdv to be paid in return for completing site.

Our friends were requested to do the same at Tatlisu site in June, they were reluctant to part with further payments due to a breach of contract, appalling and shoddy unfinished workmanship, 5 years of the lies and false promises,

yes they and many more are vunerabul due to incompetance of the so called legal system, but they are not completely stupid,

those with holiday homes are more inclined to be intimidated by these B.....ds and pay up as they fear that they may loose their homes.

I understand that KDV is only payable when title deeds are issued but I may be wrong.



Was there any alternative to Sallia's request ?

It looks as though everyone who has bought off Sevilla has ended up in the same boat. I am so sorry to be saying I told you so. I still hope it all turns out alright in the end.

P.S. It is only a few weeks ago that Measey recommended Sevilla. Looks as though he got that wrong.

Should the request by Sevilla Villa have been made though the legal representatives of these purchasers instead of contacting them direct, this would have allowed their lawyers to investigate whether this request contradicts contractual obligations by the vendor, to act in accordance and to defend their clients who have put money and trust in their professional expertise.

requests of this nature can cause unnecessary stress and anxiety .

I Have bought on the Sevilla Golf Villa site - NO demands for payments received either direct or through my legal representatives - so no idea why there is so much scaremongering going on here. Perhaps I am the lucky one or just up to date with my stage payments - behind plan I grant you but lets be realistic and stop blowing things out of proportion. Apologies to those on Tatlisu site that are still waiting - I can only speak of my own experience

Just had an email from Sevilla,completion for the golf villas is now end of May 2011. They were unable to

advise of a site completion date!!
