I went to the cinema yesterday to see the King's speech, it was fantastic - definately would not have been half as good on a small tv screen, and unobtainable yet anyway, long live the cinema I say!!!

well pugwash if you struggle to believe anyone thinks this is a good idea you must struggle with lots of things. Like shrimp and many others we still get pleasure from a night out at the flicks and beggars belief to me that people like you stuggle with it. there again each to their own struugles

I think it is a great idea. We had similar 'film nights' in the mess when I was based in Episkopi. Used to start with a meal then sit down for the film with a box of popcorn. Then had a break halfway through the film for ice cream. Proved very popular - good luck to the Korineum.

Now call me negative, but if the golf club were promoting something like this then would have thought there would be a link to a web site advertising a schedule, or something similar.

We need more info before even thinking of venturing out to watch a film.

Until they get organised,,,,another non-starter.

pirate copies maybe, dont think it is released until the end of this week??? I dont have a 42 inch screen, wouldnt actually want one as dont watch that much tv but like to catch a good film now and again.....each to their own though of course................x
