You will need to do this through a UK address & the address will be shown on the licence ..



You may be able to do the necessary on-line ..

You can renew a licence from here ..

What is the address on your existing licence .. Is it yours ..

If it is then no problems

I have had to send mine to family in UK to post on and then receive the renewed licence... I had to renew photo licence.

You can't renew a UK driving licence anywhere abroad as you must have a UK address. Do it online - as Mess 3 says - using a relative's address.

You can renew a licence from here on-line in some cases .. As you say you need a UK address ..

If the address on the licence is not valid, then a change of address is required to a family or friends Uk address ..

I have done a licence change twice from here ..

Changed my wifes' paper licence to the plastic photo licence from our old Uk address to a friends (no charge) .. I did this by down loading the form .. Giving all the necessary filled in form, photo etc. to someone returning to the Uk to post to DVLA .. The licence was sent to our friends address & then re-posted to someone who was coming to Cyprus .. Job done

Changed my licence which was aready registered at our friends address .. On-line .. When you reach 70 the licence has to be changed to a 3 year licence .. A form was sent to our friends .. Emailed to me here .. Filled in, emailed to DVLA .. Licence sent to friends & re-posted & hand delivered here ..
