Please can anyone help me?

I have had several parcels sent to me from the UK that have never arrived and would like to rent a PO Box in the south so that I can get my mail sent there. Is there anyone out there that can advise me how to go about it and how much it costs.

Many thanks for any information.

Hello Doola3,

I've had one for about 4 years now with no problems. Depending on your nearest border crossing it's not that difficult. Mine is at a village near Bostanci but I understand that there are still some vacant boxes at the Post Office near the border crossing at Kermia Metahan/ Agios Dometios area.

Directions, pass the race course on your LHS up to the T junction turn left, after about 4 or 5 turnings on your RHS turn right, the PO is tucked away down there maybe 80 mts on your RHS.

Cost 31 Euros per year.

Good luck I hope this helps.

Message 2: it's cheaper if you pay for more than a year. The price is 55 euros for 2 years and there is a further reduction for 3 years - sorry, can't remember how much.

Yes, I'd be very interestd to know, if you can just walk in and get one. Don't they need some proof of where you live in the South?

Re Msg. 2 When I first rented mine I showed my passport and explained that I lived in the TRNC. The Postmaster said as an EU citizen living in 'Cyprus' I was entitled to a RoC PO Box.

That was all, the staff of the Post Office all know where I live and my vehicle is on TRNC reg.plates which I park o/s when I collect my mail. Like wise the Main PO in Nicosia whenever I collect a larger parcel. (Over 2kgs, I think.)
