Hi has anyone left their car at Ercan for a week or longer, if so could you tell me what they charge, also do you park in the usual one for picking up and dropping off. And can you pre-book

Theoretically you are liable to pay 5 YTL per day... Which has to be the cheapest parking in an airport i've seen apart from the fact that it used to be free...

In practice some seem able to get away with paying 5 YTL for longer periods but I wouldn't bank on it.

I don't think you can pre-book

Thanks Groucho,

It is cheap 5ytl a day, but its hard when you actually get there and trying your best to make them understand that you need a ticket for a week. will let you all know, if I get towed away.

We parked there recently for 4 days. The guy on the gate when we went didn't want any money off us & when you drive out, there is no one on the gate. So it cost us nothing.

there don't check anything, so you can just pay 5ytl and park there for a year - nobody will notice!

i feel stupid for paying 20 ytl for 4 days last month when a friend of mine paid 5 ytl for the same! ughh!

i think it is ridicilious that they make you pay for more when they can't enforce any rules.

I'm bonkers me... if I get significantly too much change back when i'm in a Supermarket I tell the cashier! Doh!

As they say it is possible but just in case allow for 5 YTL and hope to pay less.

Hi Izzet,

I think I will just go there and park up, and if I get a note on the windscreen after my holiday, thats my unluck, thanks for the info, keep up the good work.

Hi Smithy

The guy on the gate understands English so just say how many days you need. We went Sunday night to pick someone up and he didn't ask how long we wanted just gave us ticket and asked for 5ytl.

do you still have to pay even if you park over on the rought muddy area and not in the car park?

usually just wave at guy on gate and carry on going!

Not sure about just smiling at the guy and driving straight through, if he has a down day probably charge double. not seen any rough ground, but will take my chances in the car park.

Thanks everyone for the info

Left our car parked there for almost 3 weeks and paid just 15ytl. No problems. They just do not go around the car park to check the cars.
