I'm off to Turkey on Tuesday and i was wondering does anyone know where in Kyrenia the Dolmus to 'Ercan picks up...and how often?

To be honest...I don't know!



They are large luxury coaches and seat about 60 (at a guess).

The times I have seen them going to and from Ercan, they don't appear to be full.



There is a shop (I think a travel agent) where the coach pick up is that deals with any enquiries. I am going into Girne tomorrow if you would like me to make enquiries for you?

Although I have never used this service before, I have friends and neighbours that have used it on several occasions and have always stated that they are very reliable.



I dropped a member of the board into Girne on tuesday who was using the service for the first time.

When she saw the luxury coach waiting at the stop she was impressed....she thought it would be a dolmus bus!

Very popular with the locals....10TL to the airport.

Also, can you see that the 16.00 from Girne seems to have been changed by hand, making the journey an hour and a half? I think if I were going for this bus, I would be there for 16.00, but be prepared for a half hour wait.

Does anyone know whereabouts ouside of Ercan the buses wait, as we always come out and get straight into a taxi? I thought I might give the bus a whizz on my way back from Izmir in May, but I will have to check the landing time.

The coaches are situated directly opposite the exit doors at the airport. Normally where the taxis are parked.

You can't miss them, they are large luxury coaches, silver/grey in colour.

I've passed them,no they've passed me,straight to Lefkosa,up the dual carriage way and left at the rounabout,straight to Ercan.It looks like a direct service,no stops
