Does anyone have any recommendations for villa insurance for TRNC?

I am currently with Intrasure, but the price went up by 50% last year, & when queried, they told me they are not going to cover Northern Cyprus in future - certainly only the South is shown on their website.

please contact enquiries@property-management-north-cyprus.com

we can give you a quote if you provide the rebuild value of your home and if you have a pool plus the value of your contents.

Many thanks

Insure through your bank in Cyprus dont bother with agents, cut out the middle man.

Do what you would do in the UK and behave sensibly.

I work at Head Office of Can Sigorta, I would be delighted to assist anyone with their insurance issues.

Please email: carol@cansigorta.com

Banks do sell insurance, but of course they earn commission as well.

I was with Intasure and when they stopped cover for Northern Cyprus I switched to Steve Dickinson. Good communication and very reasonable charges.

far too many in-experienced people selling inferior policies for my liking...............

mess 5 - good communication and reasonable price is a poor substitute for comprehensive cover..........(my Uncle Percy, May 2004).............

Who do you suggest then NN?

I have got better comprehensive cover through SD than with Intasure.

I'm sure with your superior knowledge, Uncle Percy and 4.2 metre dish you will offer sound advice.

I have had my Villa's Building & Contents insurance with Can Sigorta for the last 5 years and have been more than happy with the cover offered for the annual premium which has remained at an acceptable cost. The office in Kyrenia are extremely helpful and I can make the annual payments via a Debit or Credit Card after an email reminder of the premium being due and feel comfortable recommending them.

Don't use Can Sigorta

We have been with them for several years, but when we had a problem with a wall being damaged last year it was the old "not our problem go away". All very friendly and good at taking the premiums before mind....

I got me house insurance from Credit West, they are good and they are local and will have to follow the local juristiction.

Stay off people with English and International names as you will have to pay commission and you do not know what you get, what is good for the person collecting commission is not necessary good for you.

I see with interest there is 2 other links with similar issues going on today, I start to wonder if there is someone launching same topic with slight differences to secure their own agenda.
