Today, the Girne Bank Manager cut the lock on the gate, the last barrier left by the owner, there is now a Standox van in the drive and the same Black Mercedes CV939. Paint is being carried into the villa and it is obvious a cosmetic job is taking place.

All this despite the fact it was illegally repossed and it's owner is joint petitioner in an Appeal for an injuction

on these villas and also joint petitioner in the ECHR CASE for which a case number has been received.

See NCFP article on K5 TODAY.

Didn't you win a court case giving back the villa?

NO Anthony, Pauline won a Breach of Contract, which means some of THE BUILDER's assets could be sold to pay the money awarded to her. That was in November 2009, she still hasn,t received a penny and until she does, the villa (in any other civilised society) is still be hers. The fact that the record for court awards to be paid out is very bad is public knowledge. AKFINANS chooses to ignore that and the fact that she is co petitioner in legal action against them. If they can get away with trying to run over Agile Chri, what else are they capable of?

Who runs this country, seems like this Bank does.

on a scale from 1-10, where 5 is the odd practice of expecting ex-pats to pay in full for properties they never get to own, I'd say Pauline's practice of using a pseudonym to try to protect her identity rates a zero for oddness.

Not at all Anthony, I as pollymarples act as Pauline Read's alter ego who does all the sleuthing for Pauline Read's articles on North Cyprus Free Press, no secret, most people know this. Common practice in writing, the marples is taken from Miss Marples from the Agatha Christie novels. Polly is Pauline's nickname. Just meant to amuse, not to mislead or annoy.

I did make this public knowledge on this forum.

Hey guys, just drawing attention to the inevitable for everyone on K5 and indeed in the whole mortgage queue unless this government gets it's head from up its backside. Pauline is not special, just the first in a long line of people it will happen to . She however is just the most vociferous and will go down fighting.

From Pauline

Every instinct in me wants to scream and go and punch the lights out of the Manager Ertul Kader, walking around my property, yet because of the system here, I know I will be arrested for assault and trespass, how can that be right??

and the norm in the RoC for Greek Cypriots to defraud with immunity. It's a very Cypriot thing which brings the two sides together.

It's a very Cypriot thing which brings the two sides together indeed no doubt they would both quote human rights if they were to be treated likewise in the uk.

they both seem, to be good at woe is me and whinging about the past instead of looking forward.

Oh Pauline,

This is so awful! what can I say, how the hell can they get away with with treating people so dreadfully, it makes me want to cry, just the beginning of many, surely there is something that can be done? so many brick walls, and blind alleys in the TRNC! is there is no end to immoral behaviour!

Before using the word illegal think!

It may be illegal in the UK but clearly not here in the TRNC.
