Hello Everyone,



For those of you who love to play chess and to make new friends we are forming a chess club at the Esentepe Villa Hotel every Wednesday at 2.30pm.



This is a great oportunity to play the game-improve your chess and beginners are very welcome.



We are starting on the 23rd of March at 2.30pm and look forward to meeting you all.

Congratulations, Esentepe! There is now a chess club (expats) in Girne, Alsancak and Esentepe. But there is one in Famagusta (Cypriot Turks) also. Maybe we can meet for a one day tournament or meet more or less regularly (for the TRNC Championship)? Well, whatever: I wish you Good Luck!

Just to thank those who turned up for our first club meeting last Wednesday.



We had a great time and even Sooty, the hotel dog, showed some interest. You don't need to be a good player, just enjoy the game or want to learn.

Alsancak club still going as far as I know.



Get in toch with Dutch Crusader (Hans) he runs it and they play at Guidos every tuesday (i think)!!!
