He said I have a fine to pay and 13 points on my licence, I said which lcence? He said your TRNC licence.
I nearly fell over laughing. But the law is the law, I broke the law and was wrong... |

| The number of points varies depending on how much over the limit you are, as does the fine youhave to pay. The naughtier you are the more money they take and the more points they give.
However, it has been said that after 100 points you getbanned from driving, but it doesn't appear to happen. I know someone in fear and trembling that they would get banned, but nothing. But of course the points stay on your licence records for about 2 years (not quite sure for how long).
It does seem that their maikn concern is finance rather than punishment. |
