I am in the process of constructing a website for Landlords and Tenants to place their offers and wanted ads on one website which I hope will become The Centre for all to check out the latest listings in North Cyprus.

It will cover all Lettings, House Shares, Holiday Rentals, Wanted Requests and for those who are interested "For Sale By Owners" ...

It may help keep the forum a little less clogged with such requests and offers. Any constructive advice and suggestions or help most appreciated. A link with the forum will be placed on each page.

Thank you for your kind words. I too hope that people will use the site as the centre to place their rental requests and lettings, including estate agents. Maybe it will turn into a multi listing site for all

You have been giving people like myself doubts on purchasing in North Cyprus by the various comments you have left on this site and by the advise on your website above?



Now I would like to correct me if I am wrong? You are only going to allow vendors who have their title deeds to pay and advertise on your site under the for sale by the owner and all buyers are guaranteed by your company (I am guessing that you are a registered company here in the TRNC as this will also be against your ethics)that you have done the necessary checks to ensure that everything is in place with each and ever

Now If I were a vendor I would ask myself the question why I should pay a company to advertise my home when the director of that company is also so negative about purchasing in North Cyprus and advises to rent not buy?

Dear David, Firstly thank you for taking the time and effort to take note of what is happening in North Cyprus. Many do not.

I am glad that one of my posts encouraged you to join the cyprus44 site whether or not as a supporter of mine or not. I consider all views to be important enough to listen to. Everything is about perspective.

There are always contradictions in life even in the most discussed subjects such as religion, beliefs and science. Divine dichotomy is an interesting subject.

I love North Cyprus and I do not scare monger or purposely put people off purchasing. I try to just present facts obtained from many others who have been unfortunate with their purchases, and they are considerable in numbers. My recommendation is to rent before you buy and proceed with extreme caution! I have also had my own very near misses with losing my hard earned savings!

My second site is to help those who have family suddenly hit by dementia and alzheimers get what is rightly theirs, by law, national health service funded nursing home placements in the UK. I decided to become an activist on behalf of others after years of helping my parents and fighting the "system" to get justice for the elderly and infirm.

The third website is trying to help others place their ads, be they wanted, to let, house share, swaps, part-exchanges, holiday rentals and the list can go on, onto a central database. That is me being active again, not just standing by and watching what goes on.

All Vendors may place their properties on my site. Those who have done so, inform me that their Deeds are available. The site does not act as an Estate Agency but a platform to help others place their requests and adverts on. A form of a multi-listing-site. The placements are FREE, as those who already present their requests will tell you. My site is presently under construction and I ask for advice, suggestions and help from whatever quarter it may come from, and I do take note. Terms and Conditions page will be produced as well. This may also help alleviate the large numbers of rental offerings and requests being placed on the forum, which I have noticed has increased greatly this lat few months, the majority of which appear to come from those purporting to be agents.

In sum, in respect of the property scene, I enjoy presenting the information provided by those who have unfortunately lost their life savings, in an unbiased way for others to read and consider the whole scenario before risking their life savings. I feel that I have done my best and helped those who have suffered in warning others to be extremely cautious when entering the property market in Cyprus. People are free, of course, not to take heed of any of the information presented. Free will exists for all to make their own informed decisions. Remember, "No Deeds, No Money" ...

Also should we also have a safety check list for prospective rental clients, i.e stair gate's, fire alarms, carbon monoxide detector's. I know when I rent somewhere I always ask if they have these items just in case!!

Thank you for wishing to place your lovely Villa on my site. It is currently a free service whilst in the construction mode. I hope it helps market your holiday rental property to a wider audience. If you need to emphasise anything else, please let me know.

I would suggest that any effort to do with health and safety and the well being of guests is well worth taking and should be highlighted in any rental agreement you have with those who stay in your lovely villa.

I have seen a villa on your website for rent (3 bed villa in Catalkoy area for 500/month) but it says to contact via e-mail but I cannot click on it and there is no e-mail address given?



Was that just an example or is it for rent? I move out to North Cyprus next Tuesday to organise a villa for my family who will move out 7 - 14 days later.

Chuffed that a little step to help others has provided the incentive for others to consider providing something free for once
