The TRNC goverment are sitting on a gold mine in the Med, By far the better side of the Island, and out side the euro zone to boot, the problem is, they just don,t know how to mine it, so they let the cowboys run it,

I also think i seen a hitchin real out side a goverment building, i could be wrong,

Just my opinion

No Kocan (in your name) no money.

Rent - dont buy until you have done your homework on the spot, not from a distance.

Not many sales anyway - wonder why???.

You can buy here, just make sure it is a resale, you have seen the kocan is in the sellers name and things should be ok. Now it is a buyers market with lots of properties for sale. I know I am trying to seel one. There are bargains to be had right now.

I also agree with messages 4 and 11 - if you were lucky enough (or smart enough) to get it right then life here can be good... but totally understand if it didn't go to plan why you need to carry on with the doom and gloom.

quackers (mess 20)

Whilst I understand wattys post seems offensive to you! you must also understand where thousands of TRNC victims have found themselves through no fault of theirs! To appear smug because you have got a bargain basement property seems to imply you couldn't careless about what many have lost? looking at the thread I see wattys post has been deleted anyway!

kittyfun (mess 18)

Enjoy your rental, just be very careful! nowhere compares to Cyprus for corruption! Good Luck!

kavenkoy (mess 4) and sienna (mess 12)

Not according to the world press! "Cyprus" is the worst place in Europe to invest, it is rife with corruption! hopefully neither of you will at anytime in the future want to leave!

There is no room for offensive posts on here full stop, all quackers was saying is that it is a buyers market at the moment if you have a bob or two spare. Its the same worldwide supply and demand always dictates the value of property.

I do understand that offensive posts have no place on any board, but you also have to understand that although it certainly is a buyers market in most of the civilized world, in Cyprus it is different! for some unknown reason no-one in either Government North or South will stop the on-going corruption! what seems strange to me is that some of the people who live there seemingly also don't want to put a stop to the corruption? even though It would make a better country not only for any future investors, but also for the ones that have invested there already! It's in every one's interest! why can't you see that? Cyprus is already at the bottom of the European barrel of bad apples!

Sorry but i disagree whether you like it or not the same in my opinion does apply to Cyprus, prices will always be dictated by demand. I have never stated that the government doesn't needs get its act together but the reason some of the people living there don't kick up a fuss could be down to the fact that they are quite happy and content with their lot. Not everyone has suffered at the hands of unscrupulous folk along the way.

deeds ready to be transferred is that the same as purchaser is ready to have them transferred to them. Stick to the European method of purchase, no deeds, no money!

If you want to buy go ahead as long as it is resale you will get more than most who gambled with glossy pics. How many builders actualy set out not to finish the sites they started ? i think the people in the trnc tell everyone no kocan no money so the keep cyprus to themselves.
