Prime Minister İrsen Küçük informed the opposition on the latest developments concerning the creation of the new national carrier, North Cyprus Airlines, during yesterday’s parliamentary session, putting an end to days of speculation. He reassured members of the opposition that the new airline would become operational soon.

“There aren’t any obstacles in the establishment of the North Cyprus Airlines company” the Premier said.

Addressing parliament yesterday, Prime Minister Küçük said that the Minister of Public Works and Communications Ersan Saner had met with the private sector stakeholders of the company over the weekend in a bid to iron out disagreements on the partnership agreement.

Prime Minister Küçük noted that the demands of shareholders put forward during the meeting would be conveyed to representatives of Turkish Airlines who are overseeing the creation of the new airline

He said that it was possible to resolve the problems addressed during the meeting.

The Premier also listened to the concerns of former workers of the Cyprus Turkish Airlines, who were watching the debates at the guest lodge.

I have just found the price of over 2000 from Pegasus in Aug for three people. They can take a running jump. It will have to Larnaca I am afraid, but don't tell my fascist friends over the border, I don't really want the red carpet.
