Hi brandy sour

Are you sure you are not thinking of permission to purchase? Fatma at Kavanlar emailed me to say kocans were ready but I've heard nothing since.

We are back on Wednesday, phase II, for a whole month and looking forward to swimming in the pool, basking on the sunloungers, enjoying the well lit site in the evening, appearing on candid (security) camera...... I'm not going to be disappointed am I?

Hi Susie, My 12 year old daughter is staying with her nan on phase 1 for the school holidays. She looks about the same age as your daughter and would love someone to chat to. Send her round the pool if she would like some company, I know my daughter would.

Have a nice weekend.

Jon.

Thanks for this info Gemma.

Can you tell us the progress of block 1 [nearest the road] as when we were over 1 month ago our apartment was well behind the other blocks on phase 3? It would be useful to know if our block is also coming on as a few weeks ago it didn't have any walls or brickwork.I think the late start was the need to demolish an existing building.

Block 1 now has brickwork and the whole phase is developing more speedily. Could be in by next Mat, my guess.

Hi Boroboy

Yes that block is doin nicely. The building that was demolished was the land owners. They are living in the corner next to us on phase 2. Ilker says it will be finished by March !!!! Maybe we should run a book. Put me down for---June

Good news about the dustbin!! It was becoming a pain having to take the rubbish down the road to find a bin. So hopefully when we are out in a couple of weeks there might be even more progress.

I hope that enough people pay so we can get the pool filled, then any problems will be able to be rectified before the start of the the really good weather. .would hate for it to be filled in april then find a problem that will take months to fix and then no cooling dip available.

Hi Liz bin is on left as you enter the site.

MEPS have planted up the site with regimented rows, to suit the irregation lines, plants, shrubs and a few trees. There are at least 50 banana plants around the pergola end of the pool, enough to sustain a fair size colony of monkeys! It seems we are not having a giant pergola, as phase 1, but something else but Im failed to grasp Iler's description. I'm sure it will be tasteful.

Just to let all you phaseII largards in the UK know, the weather here is brilliant and the sun is shining on YOUR apartment right now.

john phillips in phase2 is over in cyprus at present, He went to pay his final payment and has been asked for another £1000.00 towards the electric transformer, this is the first time this has been mentioned and he already has his electric on. Has anyone else been asked for this? There is no mention in his contract.

Hi Liz yes we looked today just the one bin and miles away from your block. No idea if there are going to be anymore but fingers crossed we will have one down our end too. Nevertheless, its a little nearer than the one I have been using.

Kavanlar plans to lay a concrete base for more bins in the present position. Whether there are othe sites designated for bins I know not.

The Meps leaflet in the doorways points to four large bins approximately one per two apartment blocks. The siting is reasonable as it is in the entry and exit area near block G. Hopefully, the planting should be completed by MEPs by today and Kavanlar were supposed to be responsible for gravelling the area today but which today it is I am not certain. Phase three is having some winddow frames fitted and the first concrete for the pool is laid.

Meps do seem to have out interests at heart and are willing to do most things as they will want to recoup some of the outlay by keeping the contract. They certainly want to win/extend the contract.

The reason we only have one bin is because only enough Money has been paid in for one bin.

The only blocks with lights on ---are the blocks where at least 3 people have paid their meter money.

Yes it would be nice to have the bins spread around the site--but has anyone given a thought as to how the bin waggon will get round this site to empty them ?

At present a concrete base is being prepared. This will be hidden a little bit with fruit trees that are on site waiting to be planted.

Tricia

Mop the floor with very little ditergent in the water and get a flat dry mop and go over the floor with that after you have mopped it,

So basically you are mopping and then drying,

It's the only way to garantee no streaks

I only mop mine once a week, just sweep or hoover on other days as you will ruin it with over washing

Just remember Marble soak's up everything as its a natural material, don't put anything abrasive on it because it will ruin it

Come on fellow phase 2er's, lets get meps paid up because without payment how are they expected to maintain the site to the standard we would all wish,it will be us that suffer.

As it stands just over 14 have made payment, not very good out of 54 !!

Hi All

I second that

We paid our's in our block and cause I know them at Kib Tec we had our electric in the hall done real quick and I have paid my Maintainence even though I won't be here much longer,

I got locked out of our Hall door last night, Luckly Marion and Geof were in, but Marion called Meps and they were out in minutes and got it sorted

And Marion and I had the biggest laugh about it

Mep's are really delivering the good's

So pay up and we will get more

Hi to all on phase 2. I agree with cooper . We should all pay up. The sooner the better. It is in all our interest to see the site well maintained and improved.

If only 14 have paid up out of 54 it is a pretty poor show so far.

In answer to Message 48. The £1000 for the transformer, its not on our agreement and Ilker asked me about it and i told him that it was not on any paperwork and he pulled out our agreement and said oh its not there, we will speak about it later, to which I told him in no uncertain terms he gets no more, as we don't have it . Its not been mentioned again. But I can assure you he is not getting anymore money out of us, its just another way of trying to screw money out of us. So my advice is ignore it.
