To be fair though it's s huge job to replace all the water mains and they were hampered by some very unseasonal weather. Our road was reconnected only when hubby lent them a big pair of stilsons (?!!) which they promptly popped into their tool box, not promptly enough though as hubby guards his tools like a mother hen!!

Nick,

this place will celebrate for days if it is ever elevated to 'third world' status

Steveafc its great after the initial disruption, people no longer come afar to DUMP their rubbish outside our accommodation. Hopefully they have found new dumping grounds when the road network is restored.

lol @ sal .yeah i know................i know they have to replace tha antiquated water pipes no arguement there good on 'em !

It's the state they leave / left the roads in afterwards and being a 3rd world country ( true or not ) has absolutely nothing to do with it , but then negs remarks rarely do.

I have never moaned about a poor water supply as Catalkoy always seems to be one of the best, it is just the fact that they don't inform anyone what is happening.
