Picking up my neighbours tomorrow, (don't tell the cabbies) their sat system seems to be down.

Does anyone know what's occuring with Dopi?

IF you listened to the " I told you so's" .. your question would be irrelevant ? ;)

They are - as prophesied- having to change - again - their route to allow their clients to receive the decryption info.

If you are looking for quality TV Packages from a company with seven years track record of providing customer service in the TRNC with hundreds of satisfied customers, there's only one telephone number that you need - 0533 869 4372.

There's no internet required, no stopping and freezing and it's in glorious HD (a picture second to none)

http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/59203.asp http://www.satellitecyprus.com

Everything else is a compromise and take my word for it, don't buy TV that relies on the wireless internet in Northern Cyprus and don't waste your money on big dishes and expensive equipment at the moment - WAIT for the result of the court case in the UK as very soon, SKY may be available on one of our small 90cm dishes

Deal with a professional, someone with integrity who has built their business over seven years and who would'nt do anything to compromise their reputation and you won't go far wrong and oh yes, don't forget the money-back guarantee !

Msg 18,

Washerman is advertising his trade, as many people do, I have his Sat system in my place and works brilliant, so its not off the subject and why the abuse, U r way out of line if u have nothing inteligent to say, the say nothing and keep ur narrow minded opinions to urself!

@ msg 25, Rogerdodger: Msg 18 at THIS moment WAS msg 19 - until I requested to delete msg 17 (msg 17, libel by C44 member Denizen). So C44 member Jefferson did NOT reply to Washerman's post, but to a now deleted message. That's why all posts got a different number.

Rodgerdoger re:msg 25

You say "Washerman is advertising his trade, as many people do"

I for one (being the person importing/selling the large SKY dishes he is implying in his post) do not need to advertise myself...he obviously needs the business so he is constantly advertising himself here!!

I have no objection to that....but i wish he would stop slagging off other peoples business while he is trying to promote his own!!

I wouldn't know about Granada or BBC - I have no interest in them.

And I have nothing on DOPI. I am not a customer of DOPI - I am a customer of Uran (who provide Dopi's system).

Message 29.

Great super reply.

Geee you are so correct, you do not need to advertise yourself,as you say.

6ms does it all for you

Ive not seen anywhere that he has slagged off other peoples businesses, but we have seen your pal doing it,in his own roundabout way.

Ive put a thought to the goverment think tank, ive suggested that 4.2m dishes should have to have planning consent and also a yearly licence fee payable if they grant planning permission as they are an eye sore and can make a decent area look like beirut on a sunny day.

Long live osn and tiddlie dishes.

It was a genuine question, have you got Granada and the BBC?

Just have a look please.

Uran, Dopi, whoever? it doesn't matter.

"Just look" is all very well - but with 2,498 channels it takes time. However, there is no Granada but there is BBC World News, Entertainment and Knowledge.

Uran/Dopi does matter. Uran is cheaper and they tell you what is really happening.

Agree with you about Uran, the only problem is most have gone trough Dopi.

If you set up the channel guide alphabetically searching is a lot easier.

Thanks

It's not preferential treatment for msg 20, we got back on today - just in time for tennis semi final. Yes it will probably happen again but we feel it is still worth it for the cost (until it packs in for good of course). The longer it continues, the more cost effective the initial start up cost becomes and that's what we don't want to have to pay up front again until we can't avoid it so that's why we stick with Dopi despite the occasional fairly short lived inconvenience.

Iceman is NOT my 'pal' .. I UTTERLY respect his technical abilities ( as do many folk in the biz in Europe )
