a "Swan" with turtles??I'll be there tomorrow !!!

If on the West side,I've swam with quite good fish off the Kervan beach rocks.

I've just had a snorkelling holiday in the Phillipines.Protected areas,fishing banned...like swimming in a

tropical aquarium, all the fish I had in my tank as a boy....wonderful.

Wish it could be done here !!!

Agree with Rocky - certainly not teeming with life. However, another place to see a few fish is at Escape Beach - as you look at the island from the beach there are some large underwater boulders / rocks in the left hand 'gap' which shelter fish.

Beware though - there are some sharks (they stand at the gate to the beach and charge 15YTL a pop for entry!!!)

Remember swimming in the sea of Agia Napa before the hotels came (early 70s) and it was full of different types of fish. Lucky to have seen as it was and not full of plastic bags and other detritus as it is now.

Try Sunset on border of Alsancak Lapta. Walk to end or pier theres steps to get in the sea and there is fish there to be seen.
