Is he banned because he dares to criticise the poor English of some?

you know phylray.

Some people may well be a little if not very dyslexic as my friend is,and to be riddiculed on a open forum about ones spelling it tends to get a little boring sometimes,to him it may be very amusing and alot of fun,but to others i can assure you its not.

But i suppose it takes all to make the world go around, some peoples bag is others misfortune, thats life i suppose.

Crazy sense of humour really.

But as long as people are prepaired to take as good as they give without moaning, then i suppose its happy days isnt it?

Mess. 6 I don't think anyone was trying to make fun of anyone with dyslexia.

But there are some who profess to be sooo.. British but can't be bothered to learn

the language properly.

It has evolved, but the basic grammar and spelling has not (unless you are American, and

that's opening a whole can of worms)

Internet message boards are hardly Degree level English Language essays!!! especially when the board has no edit facility.

"spot the spelling mistake your trying to educate us all about."

I've spotted it... 'your' instead of 'you're'? A very common error, even done it myself! :(

Some suggest one way to avoid typos is to type in a more advanced application like Microsoft Word, review the typing and even some errors grammar will be highlighted, correct them and then copy and paste it into Cyprus44... right, like anyone other than somebody really anal is going to do that. They'd never get their ripostes in before others steal their thunder.. "Doh! I was going to say that.... bugger!"

Here's the thing, this is a place where brain-dumps take place it's not the Times Literary Supplement.

I love the English language but I'm not going to lose and sleep about it on a board with no editing functions.

Now I all ready know that an English teacher will disagree with me here but I have a question.

Who is really the more intelligent, someone who blames others for being lazy because they don't repeat everything verbatum and lay it out so that any one who has been educated to a certain standard wil be able to recognise it, or, someone who has the ability to comprehend what others have written without the need for it to be structured in a particular way.

I notice that some of the people who tend to require the structured system are the same people who feel the need to state their qualifications and knowledge base.

I am a Teacher, I am a Journalist, I am an Aesthete (I had to look that one up)

This is a forum folks, not a literary convention, just my opinion of course
