I read a report on another good forum and it is frightening if you are thinking of renting out its worth reading it before you rent your place to anybody cos it could end up costing you a packet.

And if you don't rent it, still it will cost you a packet. Not many have problems when they rent to brits. I do agree though to a certain point. Also don't think because you pay an agent each month that they keep an eye on it and the tenents, because they do nothing, and would not have a clue if any damage had been done. Best if you can rent out yourself and then have a good friend or someone you can trust manage it.

So surely you would have thought of that before you bought and made allowances ex. for maintenance beledere charges water and whatever, unless of course you jumped in with those rose tinted specs that many seem to wear.



Its not the Brits thats the main problem as you say but the thing is worth a read, im not good at copying links but its on the http://www.glencoecyprus.com forum and the money it cost the people is frightening.



Your last point about having a good friend look after your place is good advice IF you have a GOOD friend to do it
