I have flights booked for March with Pegasus. However will now not be able to use them. E - mailed to ask was it possible to change to another date or do a name change and offer them to our friends. I cannot make head nor tail of their response!

Anyone cancelled with Pegasus and know if its possible to do this?

My sister had to recently cancel the return part of a Pegasus flight (Ercan to Stansted). She was given a refund of £100 (£50 per person). This was however only a week before the flight was due.

Thanks ,

looking at the general rules I don't think we can do any of the above. I bet they will sell the seats on though.

kind regards.

With Pegasus it is the same as most airlines -the lower the ticket price the less you can change or get back.

The conditions will probably have arrived with the e-ticket.

The conditions are available on their site and will relate to the class you have booked.

If you bought through an agent they also have the right to make a charge for changes, cancellation etc.

Sorry not much help.

Thanks Tom,

Looks like I'll be flying back from Borneo on Saturday and out to Cyprus on Sunday. As well as taking unpaid leave. What a rush, particularly as we are flying from the south of England and live in the north.

Now that is what I call a qucik change over.

Always said it but the semi flexible ticket on CTA represents good value. Had to cancel three flights in June got 70% back. Changed flights September to another day and just paid the fare difference. Changed flights three hours before leaving on return and charged £30 each as within 72 hours, the class was the same so no charge for the difference.

Original ticket price was £205 or there abouts, this was only £20 more than the lowest non refundable ticket at the time.

Colly Bradus and everyone else.

CTA have changed many of their rules so a lot of the seats are no longer so flexible and their charges for changes/cancelation are higher.

A lot of changes which also affect prices have only come into play today.

I did try to warn the bb's last week.

From what I can see they still have semi flexible seats but at a larger differential than this year. Now seems to be £30 single £60 return for the semi flexible ticket. Getting closer to the "worth a gamble" point.

Shame, looks like Pegasus next year.
