Those of you with long memories will remember that I was trying to speak to Donald Crawford QC a member of eupro. I stumbled on eupro when I read this article.

http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/show-message.asp?messageID=676

Donald contacted me today and I asked him about eupro and his thoughts on the Cyprus issue.

He kindly responded by saying

"Eupro was set up in March 2005 to combat GC propaganda on the property issue and also to contest legal challenges. It had considerable success over the following few months < initiating the successful action against Transport

for London, forcing the withdrawal of GC attempts to issue Eurpean arrest

warrants against property developers, and having the GC lawyer who acted

against the Orams arrested in the North when he tried to do it again on

other owners. However, with the successful High Court action in favour of

the Orams < notwithstanding the appeal; now before the ECJ < we have folded away our tents. The property issue is in our view no longer a risk for

buyers. No drums to beat. The GCs continue to shout but nobody is

listening".

Reassuring and is in keeping with what we are witnessing. Life goes on and even if the GC choose to live with the past most people just want to move on.

Hi all,

Thats good news!!

With so much of the EU wanting a solution for cyprus and others wanting to move on with life this will happen in the future!!

ROC are not doing themselves any favours by continuously protesting and objecting to everything NC - This will only prove that they are the only ones who will not move on or settle on the cyprus issues!!

It goes against everything that the EC are intent on solving!!

See ya D
