Flights from Ercan to London Stansted with Onurair

While travelling with Pegasus Ercan to Stansted, I have seen Onurair planes at both Ercan and Stansted. I have tried via the Onurair website to view flights from Ercan to Stansted and it only shows Turkish airports, not UK ones. Does anyone know if Onurair fly from Ercan (touchdown Turkey) and then onwards to Stansted, or do they have to be booked as 2 separate flights. Anyone flown Onurair and can they be recommended?

I am flying from Stansted to Ercan. I booked it via Airflights.co.uk . I will be able to tell you more next week.

I have just found another thread re Onurair so am reading up on that just now. Am doing it the opposite way around to you, flying from Ercan to Stansted.

Onur Air flights are chartered to a UK tour operator the only way that any agent can sell flight only seats on them is by buying them from the TO on an ATOL to ATOL basis and then bonding you against their own ATOL bond should something go wrong even down to simple delays. Some agents might view this as a risky procedure.

So, they are only booked for package holidays, not as flight only booked by an individual?

It does state that they can shnge the departure time. I don't realy care so long as it is the same day. They can delayme in Cyprus for weeks if they like. What joy?

It will be interesting to see how they perform as my friend is travelling out with them on Saturday from Manchester to Ercan.

Our friends travelled out with them on 17th July and are returning on the 7th August. They came from Stansted to Istanbul and then on to Ercan where we picked them up. They were flight only. They booked the flights through Go North Cyprus. Hope this is of some help.

1 Friendly, I tried go north cyprus, but I am originating from North Cyprus and their flights originate from UK. However, I have emailed them to see if I can get it to work out. Will let you know the outcome.
