I have tried 2 different companies offering sunset boat trips. They both had their good and bad points re service and the food but I wondered if anyone could give me some useful feedback regarding their own experiences.

Agree Jenfarrall, tried the African Queen 2 years ago and there was a nice spread on the curry cruise. Just wondered what the other companies currently offer food, service and price-wise.

Got to concur with earlier post that African Queen is by far the best, food great (and I'm extremely picky) bar prices reasonable and all staff very friendly. Have tried the day and curry cruise a few times now and the curry is better than any I have had in a restaurant. And most importantly never had a gippy tummy the next day.

Have been on the African Queen and on The Princess, both were very good (no currey thank goodness - only chicken or fish). Both were good, but the edge went to The Princess. Good Bar Bills system, ice creams brought twice around during the day afternoon snack with water melon. Lunch food very good buffet. Excellent service just got back an hour ago - would definately do it again. Also great for kids, plenty of room under cover lower deck and on top. It also has a water-shoot ride which goes from the top deck to the waters edge - great fun.
