Should have sent the drunken twits straight back to Glasgow and banned from flying with Thomas cook ever again.

Now that is what I call zero tolerance !!

Its not just the brits, I was waiting for luggage at Lanaca and a russian flight came in, some of the passengers were so drunk that they kept falling over, when ground staff tried to help them, the russians picked up and tried to throw trolleys at them!!! out came the feds with the guns!!!

Last time we came back with Monarch there was a hen party on board. On their way to holiday in the south.

Well all the guys on the flight sat there with their mouths open reading the girls t.shirts. T.shirts with things like' nob nibbleing nick' unbelievable.

All i though was i hope people don't judge all Brit women as being them same as these girls. It was shamefull.

Another example of the press getting the facts of a story wrong.

The flight departed from Glasgow and therefore the drunks were Scottish, though I suppose they were technically correct as Scotland is part of the U.K

Maybe the headline should have said drunken Europeans......

it would'nt be rocket science now to work that one out and I bet 9 out of 10 people from scotland would prefer to be called a Scot rather then a Brit, their's enough scots on this board lets see what they think

Ah....The English are as bad as the Scots. Selective memory for some folk.

Whats the difference anyway, vile yobs and Chavs. Puts you off charter flights.

message 10, Most of the Scots I know have to travel south to get a good flight price, so it is not unusual for a plane leaving Glasgow to be nearly all English on board, from places like Carlisle and Newcastle!

Babydoll, My passport says I am British, although I am Scots and proud of it. But when asked my nationality I always say British.

nurse, I'm a wee bit confused.... " Most of the Scots I know have to travel south to get a good flight price, so it is not unusual for a plane leaving Glasgow to be nearly all English "

Why then would the English travel North to Glasgow? Sorry, I am not trying to be confrontational but wonder why this would happen since as you say flights are cheaper from the English airports.

The easiest way to explain this Ballyboffin is, we met people on holiday in Turkey a few years ago who were English, from the Manchester area who had travelled to Glasgow or Edinburgh as they got the flights cheaper. Whereas we flew from Manchester as it was cheaper for us.! Yes a bit Irish but we discovered this a few times.

Maybe flightholiday will come on and explain it better. Could it be that the airlines and hotels work together??

As we always stayed overnight in Manchester and had to use the carparks!

As someone who is afraid of flying I would have been terrified. Why didn't other passengers or flight attendants see the captain and have them put off. Can you imagine a 'punch up' in such a confined space.

Had same problem on flight on 20 July and TC staff did nothing even though my 4 year old was in front of these louts. I am scottish but would carefully point out to those who have shown some racist comment on here that we as scottish are tarred with the same brush when english people behave like that eg football etc etc it is always British so choose wisely about pinpointing!!!

Wouldn't dream of tarring the Scots with the same brush as the English.

Rangers fans in Manchester?

Probably the English chapter.

I bet the flight attendants were too busy making stupid announcements and trying to upsell rather than solving the problem at an early stage. i have never heard so many announcements as on a Thomas cook flight.

"Holiday Flight From Hell"...

"Eventually the flight took off.

Within ten minutes the young man in the row next to me had thrown up three times.

I felt I couldn't use the toilets.

They were obviously kept busy with a lot of people using them to be sick in,

to be used by couples.

But also groups of young men found it funny to hang around them to try and spy on the young girls.

I think selling 3 cans of Stella. a couple cans of Magners and redbull in one sale to one person

and then coming back later to see if they want any more is a bit extreme."
