Can anyone give me any info on hiring road legal quad bikes, i will want 2 in early October, if you could give me the names of any companies that rent these out, I would be most grateful. x

Why don't you holiday in Ayia Napa or Protaras.

Their roads are full of selfish people driving the noisy things, disturbing thousands of others.

The poster asked a perfectly reasonable question and that's the response she gets.

No wonder the place isn't overflowing with visitors!!!

A few questions..

1, do you drive or have a car or have ever been in a car?

2, do you use or have ever been in a supermarket?

3, do you have or have ever watched a t.v?

4, do you live in or ever been in a house?

Answer yes to any or all of these questions and you are a hypocrite!

Cyprus like anywhere is changing daily (evolution we like to call it!) and wether you like it or not things will change or we would all still be living in caves. Just because someone would like to hire a quadbike (which I hasten to add I don't really like either as I agree they are noisy and dangerous) doesn't make them enemy of the state. A quad bike in my opinion would be safer than a moped anyway.

Thankyou message 6, i want to hire theem out for my on and his friend who are interested in exploring the mountainous areas in north cyprus, and will be minimal on the roads. My son and his friend both hold UK driving licences to drive everything from a moped to a class 1 HGV so safer drivers you will not find. Any other respectable aanswers wouldd be appreciated.

I think you will find the 'mountainous' areas of North Cyprus almost impossible off road even on a quad so it's pointless if that's the real reason. If it's just to buzz around on quads then they will be on the roads.... does this mean you will have a re-think?
