MagicArt, I'll make an exception to discussing charitable donations.. in public.. if you persuade Washerman to issue the following statement on CY44 - I'll willingly donate 30 GBP via paypal ..

"I promise to repay any part of an unused and paid for subscription in the event of your pay TV service ( supplied by my company) being terminated due to non compliance with TV rights issues"

Simples..

Jeez Mark

Why should there be any preconditions for donating to a worthwhile charity.

For once why do you not just button it and make a donation regardless.

Beggars belief.

>>How could someone stoop so low as to use a charity issue as part of a blackmail campaign.....it sickens me!<<

1/ Lest you 'forget' MagicArt raised MY donating - I wasn't involved in this thread..

2/ You could simply, "shut me up".... and if you are SO confident that I'm 'full of it" you wouldn't have hesitated to demonstrate that..

3/ AJ.. I don't normally make pre-conditions.. I'm not normally specifically singled out to make donations, either !

You either make a donation or not. So I guess you are in the 'not' brigade.

Don't worry Mark if you do not want to donate then tell us all now. Or are you going to skirt around this issue as well?

Either do it or do not do it but your issues with Washerman should not come into it.

Are you thick or something.

He gives a years guarantee on the box, which seems fair to me.

And if the the plug is pulled after one year, you would only lose some of your subscription money, even if its the whole lot its not the end of the world.

I did not get a guarantee on my system in the south.

So say a package that has every premiership game and a lot more had the plug pulled after a year, you have had more than your money's worth, trust me.

You either take this low risk option, or pay a fortune through sky.

I have done the maths its a no brainer.

leave this guy alone, it sounds spot on to me.

Washerman,

I see that you are STILL 'deflecting'.. clients are 'happy' until their SKY / OSN / ADTV or what-ever doesn't work.. then you are only as good as your ability to sort it out.. :(

Posting a link to 'clients' who haven't lost their subscription - YET - prove's nothing..It just shows that you've not had the plug pulled, yet..

MagicArt, you were cheeky enough to ask ask- you've had my offer...

Once again, another thread hijacked by 6m`s; are you people so thick that you don`t realise by responding to any of his comments, you are just fuelling the fire? Just ignore him , and eventually he will go away; he thrives on reaction, and, unfortunately, you give him the ammunition to react!!

Your right to a point and i think most people know this and stay away, but this guy has to defend himself everyday, he has no choice its his living. What can he do, no one is helping him.Why is it allowed on this forum.

But your right i may not be helping, so ill stop, but i still feel really sorry for him, because no ones forcing anyone to buy his product.

Mark

What is your problem?

No answer to my question in post 17?

Read it again and say yes or no.

It really is quite easy, I am sure even you can type 'yes' or 'no'.

But there again I do not hold out any hope of getting a straight answer.

So do you want to make a donation without any preconditions yes or no?

Again dragged in to this forum by the frustration of not seeing a "straight answer ". I really don`t care as to the right or wrongs but it seems to me that whatever system of satellite reception you choose you should be aware of the risks. I certainly looked long & hard before choosing my system. Will I be right or wrong, who knows but at least I had all the relevant info. at hand. So come on Arriva lets know the facts about your OSN etc. system. I am sure it is no less of a liability than many others but let the many possible customers know.

I have just got in and frankly your proposal has shocked and sickend me and any normal person would feel the same.(Denizen-I hope you read this)

Here is my reply.

You are a very sick person and setting preconditions against a charity donation aimed at supporting "Children dying with Leukaemia" is beyond belief.

I'm unable to express my anger (without getting banned )at this dispicable suggestion but would ask the mods not to close this thread as it will be a constant reminder as to what you really are.

How dare you use sick children as leverage to score a commercial point.

Here is a great opportunity for Washerman to make some money for charity and put lots of peoples' minds at rest .

So come on and guarantee refunds to your customers should the service be discontinued.

Why won't you do it ?

There must be a reason .

OK boys, stay on the subject of charity and no more on the tv service please, not even indirectly. Any post in contravention will be deleted and the author dealt with. This is a warning.

The thread was not started to 'just' promote a charity event. If it was then the first post would have made no mention of 6ms. Nor would post 5 have publicaly called 6ms out.

The thread was started to promote a charity event and use that same thread to also persue a personal agenda against 6ms. That is absolutely clear from post one and post five.

Erolz,

I'm afraid to say you are so wrong!

Washerman and his son were accidently shot and I thought the post would be a great marketing ploy to attract more people to the event -glad to say it worked as we raised over 1800lire.

If you look at my profile you will see I have a Sales and Marketing background so its natural for me to capitalise on any marketing opportunity.

Sorry to disappoint you and I look forward to receiving an apology.
