hi trotters

probabley your best is to drive from napa to paralimni then cross over the border to famagusta from there you join on to the lefkosa dual carriageway drive as if you are going to lefkosa travel for about 20kms till you see a turning of to kyrenia this way actually goes thru the mountains and brings you out on the east side of kyrenia arapkoy

sorry i have not included names to these roads i just drive on them dont take notice of road names it is quite easy everything is sign posted so you wont get lost

hope this helps a bit

Hi

Agree with UTURK, Paralimni, Dyrenia, Freneros, Verseylias (Not spelt properly) at T junction turn right and go through army camp you will come to the border. When across carry straight on and you will see signs for Kyrenia. Along dual carriage, which you get onto from a roundabout in Famagusta carry on until you come to a big big roundabout with monument, arch, flowers etc. (You will pass stadium on your right and Life Hospital on left at traffic lights just before this roundabout. At roundabout you turn right for Kyrenia, it takes about 1.5 hours from Ayia depending how long you take at border. If you take first turn to Kyrenia turning off dualcarriageway you will come across mountain road and end up near Catalkoy to the east of Kyrenia.

hi dylan

i found that the mountain road is much quicker coming from famagusta less traffic during the day plus hardly no speed cameras but can be quite scary during night because there are no street lights it actually brings you out at

küçükerenkoy then you drive down past bahçeli - esentepe - arapkoy - catalkoy then dogankoy till you get to kyrenia centre

like dylan said takes in the region of a hour and a half, 15-20mins from napa to paralimni then 45-60mins from famagusta to kyrenia totally depends how long it takes to go thru border control
