Could a member(who is online with a ps3 or xbox) or Internet provider tell me is it possible to game online?? And the costs involved for the Internet package needed to achieve this. Cheers Neil.

yes you can use xbox live here, you need at least a 1mb connection to properly play the games though, otherwise you get a lot of lag where the game keeps stopping. you have to register your xbox live account in the uk or another country that supports it or it won't work, as its not supported in turkey.

Our minimum package is 2Mbit *unlimited* connection for 60TL per month. There is no equipment or installation charge and only 50TL Activation one time. If you pay a year upfront, we dont charge activation and you get 3 months extra.

The key factor when playing online games is latency more than bandwidth. 2Mbit package is more than enough to play mw3 or any other online games.



Latency is affected by the distance between you and the server you are connecting to, for example, if the server is in the UK, you data will reach server in approx 100ms (0.1 seconds), for servers in the US, this may even be a bit longer. On the other hand somebody from within the UK will connect the same server with approx 20ms latency. So you will always be at a slight disadvantage and there is nothing I or anybody else on this island can do about it.



If you are not a hardcore player and just wanna play for fun, you will probably not be bothered by the disadvantage I mentioned above.

Kemal, thanks again for your knowledge on this subject. I'm in Cyprus shorlly so I'll be in touch. Do you do a package for us swallows. ( I spend around 6-8 weeks in Cyprus per year).
