Worth giving this a go. Was there last Christmas. There were a few teething problems but these have all now been addressed so I would certainly recommend it for this year. The refurbished hotel is lovely and the Christmas package is excellent value for money. Those of you who know Kerim can be sure that he will always make you feel welcome.

Hi Kerim thanks for the show around today, lovely quaint hotel!

Just wondered is there a tv in the room? It's some of the entertainment for my daughter!

Hope to book soon, thanks

The Christmas meal this year will be 'sit down' with waiter service. No queuing for food. Last year was the Ada Hotel's first venture into providing a Christmas Package and they did extremely well. If you want a traditional Christmas Meal in lovely surroundings then I would recommend the Ada Hotel.

Been for a look around today, found Kerim most helpful.Taking granddaughter who is over for 10days.For the price quoted reckon cheaper than staying home.Get waited on with no cooking & cleaning.Hopefully worth the booking.

No complimentary brandy with the coffee ? Given the low cost of local brandy that seems a little mean. After last year's fairly shambolic buffet where lots of people didn't get fed for hours (if at all) I think I just might give it a miss this year.

The Ada Hotel have admitted there were mistakes last year which is why this year it is a sit down meal with waiter service with everyone being served on time. Notification of any complimentary drinks and drinks prices will be advertised shortly.

Yes flat screen TV in each room---with one English channel---BBC news!

A great disappointment last year for us!

hey matula, no need to be so negative, you are in cyprus after all, would a hotel in the uk have a turkish channel for us?

Also your celebrating xmas, not watching tv, i asked just for my 22 month old to watch something. Being a bit hard on the hotel i think!

Did you go last year, Trooper? Thinking of giving it a try this year. Would appreciate feedback, good or bad, no hearsay though.

I'm not sure after reading this thread whether the main meal of the day on 25th is at Lunch time or in the evening i.e. Dinner time. Anyone know, or is it best to phone them direct?

For those not actually staying at the hotel, arrival time on Christmas Day is about 5.00 pm with the meal being served approximately 6.00 pm followed by entertainment. Any queries please call Kerim who will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Tel: 8459991.

They would have to pay me to go back this year.

Last year all we got for our main course was some soggy green veg, some stuffing

and as much gravy as we could consume ! !. No meat,no potatoes no apology, and

no refund.

We are sorry about your experience last year but we have learnt by our mistakes and would ask that everyone gives us a 2nd chance.

Complimentary brandy and coffee will be offered after the meal.

Msg 14. Turkan, I wasn't moaning about the fact that there is only one English channel on the TV, the whole experience of Christmas Day at the hotel was a disaster! The daytime entertainment was zero, about 20 of us ended up down at Kervansary and had an enjoyable couple of hours there. Then looking forward to a nice Christmas dinner we headed back to the Ada to put on our finery but we would have been better off where we were!
