Palm beach famagusta

Good morning i have heard of this hotel at palm beach beach in famagusta, anyone has stayed there?

is it a good hotel, i have heard is a little expensive, the beach is beautiful and is it near to the city center?

The beach is lovely. Its next to the forbiden city so you have the back drop of the empty buildings behind on the beach but lovely clear blue sea in front. Lovely sandy beach. And its never crowded.

It was being refurbished last summer and finishing touches were being done this August. Looks stunning. Has a casino right by its front doors which I think is part of the hotel.

Its about 15 mins walk into the old city and all its history.

The old hotel was a lovely atmospher and good service but a little tierd but obviously now it has been done up so is all new.

When I was there in t he early 60s I spent a lot of time on that beach. It was lovely.

Stayed there twice prior to the renovation. Great staff, lovely food and reasonable rates. Time of year you intend to stay might have an impact though!

Hi you need to check that it is open, we went around 6 weeks ago & it was still being renovated.
