Thanks but seen them all, can't strand Jason Statham normally even worse than Michael caine for an american accent, but gotta say one of his better one's, looking forward to the one with him and de niro coming out soon.

I suspect there are a couple of C44 literary contributors re-enacting ‘One flew over the cuckoo’s nest’.

Shutter Island is a good film, although it might be a bit "art imitating life" for some TRNC residents

Shutter Island gave me the creeps. We like to get lost in the World of Harry Potter.

'The Others' is a really good, creepy film. ' Sean of the Dead' is quite funny as is the 'Hangover'. All the Bourne films are good eg the Bourne Supremacy, the Bourne Ultimatum etc...(lots of action)

You may have seen all these though as they've been out for a while. I recently watched 'The American' which was quite good.

I've not seen it yet but I've heard 'The Hangover 2' is not as good s the first one. Hurt Locker is a brilliant film. The Kings Speech and Black Swan are good too.

Give Enemy at the Gates a view, well worth it, Unknown Liam N at his usual polished best, good stuff. Hurt Locker not so sure. Some of the others I haven't seen I'll get my order in. Good post cyprusjoker useful.

'Taken' with Liam Neeson is good. You may also like 'Inglorious B******s', a Quentin Tarrantino film staring Brad Pitt.

Another good film is 'The Last King of Scotland'. It's brilliant. The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman is supposed to be good but I haven't seen that one.

Again, quite old films. You may have seen them all.

The DVD shop in Alsancak opposite Starlings has a great selection of DVD's with some classic old war/westerns. Cemal is very helpful and usuallly has a seclection at Lambousa on a Saturday but would suggest you visit his shop for a wider selection.

Don't you just love the way some typos make a film sound comic?

Here's a recommendation for one to give the old heave ho... Sucker Punch. What a lot of over the top nonsense... Just wish we could get the 110 min of time back.

Just watched 'The Help' from the DVD shop in Alsancak - opposite Capitano Restaurant - absolutely brilliant - would recommend - also recently from there 'Matching Jack' with James Nesbit and' Larry Crowne' with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. All new and very enjoyable viewing (in my opinion!)
