Hello everyone! I'm wondering if anyone can advise the best route to fly to TRNC from the UK? I've never been to the North of Cyprus only to the south. Is it best to fly to Larnaca or Ercan for a newby

My departure airport would preferably be Manchester and I am thinking of coming asap or else early in the new year. Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

Hi

the best route from Manchester would be on Turkish Airline they have daily flight via istanbul with min fuss on the transfer. http://www.thy.com

Larnaca is ok if you have someone to pick you up otherwise to costly on transfers.

Erkin. It is much cheaper to fly Monarch from Manchester and pay a taxi fare, Turkish airlines in Dec return Jan was £530 each to Larnaca I paid £508 for 2.

MONARCH is your best bet from Manchester to Larnaca even with a £50 each way taxi fare.. Fly twice a week in winter and daily from March.

I've just checked Monarch for flights to Manchester next April and its £50 more than Turkish Airlines, not including any meals but it does include luggage and £50e.w. transfers. With TA the price shown is the amount you pay unlike Monarch who give a price and then you have to add on luggage, meals, etc. which are included with Turkish Airlines. Plus the times were much better with TA.

Mine with Monarch 7th December Manchester to Larnaca return Jan 4th came to £254 each including luggage but no meal plus £100 transfer for return, with TA it was £530 each with luggage and meal then transfer from Ercan to Girne don't know how much that is.
