Young hunting dog found about four months old has green cord round its neck, very emaciated.

I suspect it was similar to one of my dogs a four years back. The dog are not trained so when they taken up the mountains they are scared and gun shy. They are tied to a tree and just left to either get free or die. Alternatively the dog was just not wanted and left to starve.

There was also a lost little soul, brown and white pointer, about 4 months old down in the car park at Shayna today. Very timid and very thin.

I totally agree Paddy.

My dog goes out hunting and the locals can't figure out why she behaves so well. They just don't want to put in the time, they think the dog should just know what to do.

I don't just think its the hunters who are not putting in enough time training their dogs. So many dogs here can't even perform basic comands.

You will only get out of your dog, what you put in. It doesn't have a crystal ball and is not a mind reader.
