Wonderful evening at Sardunya on Saturday celebrating the opening of the new all weather extension to the beach bar. As usual food and hospitality were excellent, it really is the best place around. The jazz music was incredable, the trio are soooooooooooooooo good, I'm lost for words. Can anyone tell where they are over Christmas or Christmas Eve? We had hoped they would be back at Sardunya on 20th December as they usually play there on a Tuesday night but no one seemed sure. Any info greatly appreciated. My son arrives on 20th and I know he would love the music.

I agree it was a fantastic night. The trio are Tony Jones, Melissa Krall and Ivan on sax. I don't know the answer to where they are playing at Christmas but hopefully someone will let us know.

I spoke to Octay last night and he told me that the Jazz trio ( Tony Jones, Melissa Krall and Ivan ) will be playing every Saturday Evening starting this week at 8.00 PM

Just past Hos Bes supermarket which is on your left if coming from Girne. Approx 20yards from there you will see the sign for sardunya beach bar on your right.

If you get lost ask for "Charlie" he knows the way there and is a keen customer.

For Joandjelly. We were told that Charlie had a bad time with a pit bull terrier, is he still around? I am very worried in case we bump into him, Kipper is so scatty he thinks everyone and everything is wants to play.

The pit bull hasn't been around for a while thankfully. The owners know what he is like so tend to try and avoid other people.
