Be very careful usining Olive wood, if your chimney is not appropriately lined you will have serious problems with it becoming blocked with a very heavy and sticky deposit!! Please believe us it happened to us to the extent that the oily deposit filled the fire place and overflowed onto the marble floor!!! PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHIMNEY IS LINED!

lining your chimney does not eradicate the sap/resin from the wood, you should only burn seasoned wood,1 or 2 years old ideally,if not seasoned, you will suffer from sap/resin no matter what chimney you have.

OZANKOY. 300TL/TONNE. We supply the Corner House restaurant at Ozankoy and the Archway Zeytinlik, amongst others ,if you want recommendations give them a ring.

The wood that makes your chimney sticky is from the orange and lemon trees.

Message 4, well our lined chimney has certainly eradicated the problem for the past 3 years! Checked it again this Am and no signs of resin or sap.

Only burn well seasoned wood. Cheapest is not always best, or most economical in the log run,

Buy now, burn next year

Message 8,

putting a steel tube into your chimney will stop sap/resin sticking to the chimney sides,it just sticks to the liner instead, obvious really!!
