This board has mainly English speaking (British) readers. Would the viewers of the local weather forecasts (TRNC towns and villages/areas) prefer the units on the graphics in miles or kilometres and Fahrenheit or Celsius? Thank you for your replies!

First of all, thank you for the info. Hans! I am ok with kilometres but prefer farenheight for the temperature!

It looks like nobody has a problem with miles/kilometres and Fahrenheit/Celsius - so: no changes will be made.
