We booked our Xmas at the Cratos Hotel for their special offer of 1 night, xmas eve buffet, Xmas day lunch, for £70+ unlimeted drinks, this was booked on 15th Dec.the day after their advert went in the paper and on the 22nd I had a phone call telling me that they had cancelled Xmas no offer of compensation just sorry we are not cooking a turkey for 2 people this gave us 24hrs to find a new venue, and this is supposed to be a top hotel in N.Cyprus !!!!!!

No Integrity at all at the Cratos!

You should start a new post with the heading - Cratos breaks contract on Christmas Eve Offer - North Cyprus!

I am of the opinion that Cratos are only interested in well off turkish or cypriot guests any one else seems to be second class.

@ msg 2, walkerscott: (...) You should start a new post with the heading - Cratos breaks contract on Christmas Eve Offer - North Cyprus! (...)

▶ Hmm, John. I kindly suggest you check the background of some of the Cratos owners and some of the shareholders. I'm not suggesting anything of course. Just check.

May I in the mean time contradict your advice in msg 2 with "Stay away from them as far away as you can..."?

Crusher

I know of two other families that had booked the Cratos so the excuse about cooking a turkey for 2 people is utter rubbish.

Neither of the other families were told until they arrived for lunch on Christmas Day and you can imagine the reaction!

▶ Come on, John! You don't expect me to reply with inside details on a public message board, do you...?!

Just check. And "Stay away from them as far away as you can...".
