@ msg 2, carolhm: When your computer downloads a web page with one or more graphics they will be stored on your computer's hard drive in what is called a cache. It makes REloading that page much faster. The down side is that you should empty* your cache if you want to reload a weather page the next day. Or... you'll see that (now outdated) graphic again!



* Usually to find in the top left menu of your browser (title: "Empty cache").

@msg 3, carolhm: Tatlisu weather forecast: I've tried to cover most (populated) areas of TRNC and I think 15 areas is as much as I can do.

But I'm monitoring every area and if there are no or very few viewers then I'll remove one or more areas and replace them with new towns or villages/areas.

I am not positive it will work but you could put the following code inside your head tags on the page and change the refresh period to whatever you feel needed, it is 5 seconds here, try it and see if it works or not, up to you.

Mods, I tried to send a copy of some code that I thought might help Hans in his latest weather information post, it seems to be operating as code within the post and refreshing the thread every 5 seconds, could you please go to message 6 in that post and delete the post so the code stops refreshing the thread, sorry but I had no idea the coding would operate within a post
