I make English iced birthday cakes. Made one for Becky 123 for her daughter's 5th birthday on 7th January; see the link below.

My telephone number is 0533 8730 123.

I live in Baspinar above Lapta and the internet is intermittent, so I would advise you to ring me if you are interested.

Thats a beautiful cake.

I have tasted many cakes at Kids Birthday Parties (haven't tried Fatma's yet), and most are Cypriot style from the supermarkets, so full of cream and fruit and tasting of bananas. Nothing like your English cake at all.

Cake Story make beautiful cakes but the inside is very bland and dry.

The best I have tasted are Vicki's at The Black Olive......homemade and English icing etc. Yummy.

Look forward to tasting one of Fatmas now.

Thank you everyone... yes i agree Metin, Full of THICK cream and fruit; not appealing!

Its ok to have a slice once a year perhaps.

I've been on the hunt now and found a cake shop in Lefkosa (Hamit Koy) called 'Arkadaslar' ... v.nice.

But.. back to my post .. I will give Fatma a call.

Jkell - did you manage to find entertainment for your bday?

I had a sticky toffee pudding off Fatma for Christmas, it was delicious. And have had others from her stall at Lambousa on Saturday. Would definitely recommend.
