I have read this article and

Would like to say on this matter that

PEGASUS is a Turkish Airline and not

A TRNC airline

Don't know how these people can get away with it

Perhaps the world should see and read both sides of the story

I'd have flypigs.com up, under the trade description act claiming that they are an airline!

I find this confusing. If I remember correctly some years ago Ken Livingstone authorised the removal of advertisments from buses and tube trains for holidays in TRNC. He/his government office were promptly sued on the grounds that the company who placed the adverts, regardless of nationality, had paid up front all due fees, were a tax paying and registered UK legal entitity, and his actions were unlawful. The Court found for the company !

I regularly see the Pegasus posters and they explicitly state North Cyprus as a destination, unlike Turkish airlines who just print Lefkosia (from memory).

I believe this posters create some curiosity, and for many, may even legitimize NC, so it would be a coup for the GC's if they are taken down and a blow for NC hoteliers.
