Looking for traditional cypriot chairs either to be donated or bought.

When I say Cypriot I mean like the ones with straw seats.

We have a lovely old looking table and need 8-10 chairs to go around it.

Get in touch.

Please let me know ur price in ur post.

Many thanks

H.

There is a guy who makes them in Guzelyurt - located near the market area.

Perfect. We are moving to Zumrutkoy

Do you have an idea of how much each may cost? Just so we have an idea.

Babutsa00 In answer to this post and a previous one, the chairmaker in Guzelyurt is a real nice guy and a craftsman too, his workshop is open sporadically but the next time I see him I'll get his telephone number for you.

There are a couple of English speaking families in Zumrutkoy, my pal runs the village football team there which has a youth side. Going towards Lefkosa about 15 mins or so you have Zet Karting (Go cart track) and just the other side of Guzelyurt at Guneskoy is a small holiday complex run by an English speaking family with a large pool with slides, not really an aquapark but I'm sure the children would enjoy it. At Gaziveren (also west of Guzelyurt) is a large holiday complex that has windsurfing instructors but you would need to check if they give lessons to non-guests.

Good luck with your move.

The Chairmaker, I saw him today his telephone number is 0533 8884746, Hannas Bey but he does't speak English.

He has a stock of about 20 made up at present. I hope this helps if you are interested.
