What sort of Dongle do you have, mine is Vodaphone, I can use in N.C at an extra charge.

I have an unlocked modem with a Turkcell sim card, works ok, but cannot get 3G east of Esentepe as yet.

I use a 3G PCMCIA card on T-Mobile.



Works in Girne and Lefkosa. But watch the roaming rates. Also use it in Larnaca airport but very patchy there and their own free wi-fi is not too reliable either



When in Lefkosa try and get to the Saray hotel where they have free wif-fi. Nice sitting up in the top floor bar and emailing with a view !

You have to let Vodaphone know when you going, charges vary and I didn't take mine with me last time, although it would be interesting to know what happens if you just plug it in over their.

You cannot access the GC mobile systems in Girne, but luckily we can in Bogaz. Very cheap.
