Anyone got any suggestions for flying from

Glasgow (or even Edin.) to N.Cyprus in winter?

Have been using Pegasus but have to get connection

to Stansted & it is a tight squeeze to get there unless

you leave at 5 a.m

Whatever you do dont come back on Saturday only 1 flight you can get to Edinburgh or Glasgow so long wait

we need to go to edinburgh , . Checkin Ercan to getting out Edinburgh Airport 16 hours!

Not any quicker via Glasgow believe it or not thats 19 hours !! from checkin ercan to getting out Glasgow Airport.

Flying out by comparison, is luxury, only 12 hours.

Have you tried Larnaca, tho it appears dearer.

Bad news talked to CTA the other day its official NO flights this summer from Glasgow end of story untill next year.

As for winter flights fly with Globespan a couple of times a year to Paphos then travel north. Flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh, excess baggage charges dead cheap so can bring over plenty of stuff, cost of flights pretty good as well and drive north not to long, much better than spending hours travelling to english airports and then hanging about for ages. If you want to leave your car at Edinburgh book in advance will cost only about £45 for 2 weeks. Total time spent from house to house just under 10 hours.

Keith

Have to agree with you...In the winter its the only sensible option, I have flown to Paphos now for several years and as you say its still much easier than stressing out trying to get connections down south
