Beko and Arcelik for white goods, not sayinng they are the cheapist, I got my oven and hob from Atanco on the road leading to the Colony Hotel in Girne, Homefront for furniture seem to have a good reputation, but I went to Lefkosia for my Suite, prices much cheaper than in Girne

Botanica - main Road Çatalköy are pretty good, and have some great sofa beds - useful for 1 bed appts. They do white goods too, but dont know what make.

Hi I have been taking a friend around to buy furniture for his villa the last couple of days and we found Mermaid fabrics to be the cheapest and because they make most of the stuff on the premises you have a wide choice of style and materials to choose from. They also make curtains to measure in just a few days.

White good Bosch believe it or not are cheaper than the others mentioned.

Just go into Atanco as message 3 said. We have bought lots from him and things that are not always in stock he can get in a couple of days and he is always cheaper than the big boys for furniture and white goods.

After trailing from Lapta to Karumcum yesterday looking for a fridge / freezer for a friend I discovered on the wasy back just before escape beach Halos Trading Ltd. They had the best value for money range that I could find. the shop is very well stocked and the people are pleasant. Went down this morning paid for it and it will be delivered this afternoon at 2pm.

Prices went from 600 euros to 1600lira in the shops I checked I paid 1200lira in Halos for full sized silver coloured Hitachi F/F. They have a full service department and it came with the usual 2 years guarentee.

Pop to AHK in Kyrenia for curtains etc, everything is made in house.
