Hi All

When I drive over the mountains from Bogaz to Kyrenia, and take the coast road that goes past the golf course, are there any nice beaches along there with little bars ? If so how do I get to them ?

Kind regards

Jamie

The two beaches we like are Aligadi is a free sandy beach with and bar, just follow the signs for the north cyprus scuba diving. Lara Beach which is close to the power station and well sign posted that's 5tl which includes a sun lounger and umbrella. Hope this is helpful.

Try Kaplica Beach. You go past the golf course for about 40 minutes - I know it is a long drive but I have to say it is lovely and well worth it. There is a restaurant that has delicious sea food and it is well priced and the beach is the cleanest I have seen so far.

As for Alagadi, I used to absolutely love it and go there at least once a week (they make really nice sea bream, chips and salad!!) however it got so busy this summer and you could hardly move in the water last few times I went!

We went to Alagadi in august this year an dit was practically empty! Unfortunately you also couldn't move for rubbish, plastic bottles, nappies fag buts etc, although I believe that was just before it was cleaned up.
