Just been in Tesco's (supermarket in UK) and saw some nice canvas beach chairs/camping chairs - the ones that fold up into a bag - great for camping (some have arms and some dont and if you are really lucky some have cup holders built into the arms for your glass of wine!!!). Anyway - does anyone know if they sell anything like this in TRNC?

£5.96 per chair! (or around that price anyway). Because we are bringing quite a few bits over with us in July/August didn't want the hassle of chairs too! But having said that am hoping to get some time on the beach or by the pool!!!!

BHW I bough some of the chairs you were talking about last week for camping, they are perfect and would easily pack away to take with you to Cyprus.

On a different note what has happened to your photo that was beside your name its hardly worth going on this forum any more

that made me laugh norths4me! I had Izzet take it off! I had a couple of glasses of wine when the message went round about photos and thought it was a good idea and now have changed my mind! I may end up with nutters knocking on my door!!! (not that you are a nutter of course!).

Going back to beach chairs - no-one know of a shop I can get them from in TRNC? We are taking quite a bit of stuff already with us in August so wont have room for them and thought about buying beach type chairs there. If anyone knows which shop sells them please let me know. Thank you

Sorry, don't know about beach chairs, but re tv, we bought a plasma 42", a 4 foot freezer and a DVD player in Famagusta for a total of £1,629, if that is any help, and they are close enough to contact if anything goes wrong. (Nothing has so far...)

Not sure we are looking for a huge TV as am hoping to be out sunning myself most of the time or dining/drinking on the terrace in the evening - but hopefully get a medium size TV if the kids get bored so we can stick a DVD on!

So anyone bought any beach chairs before?
